- **For playlists**:
  - Access the playlist page and copy the URL from the browser's address bar (e.g., "https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=...") or
  - Copy the shortened URL obtained from the Share button on the playlist page (e.g., "https://youtube.com/playlist?list=...").
  - Note: For playlists, they must be set to public or unlisted.

Q. Can I specify the playback start position or a specific playback range for YouTube videos?

A. Yes, it is possible.
- **Specifying the start position**:
Many videos have silence at the beginning. You can specify the optimal playback start position to use it as a notification sound.
  - Access the individual video page and specify the start position when obtaining the URL from the Share button.

- **Specifying the playback range**:
This is useful when a single video contains multiple songs.
  1. Access the individual video page and note the desired start and end playback times (e.g., 0:20 to 3:30).
  2. Enter these into the YouTube link registration form in our web app.

- Note 1: Specifying a range is only possible for individual videos. It is not supported for playlists (there is no official YouTube method for this).
- Note 2: This feature is currently under development.

Q. Why are some playlists unable to play? What is the "privacy setting"?

A. Playlists set to "Private" cannot be played. Please set the playlist privacy to "Public" or "Unlisted".

1. Access the playlist page.
2. Click "Edit Playlist" (the pencil icon).
3. Change the privacy setting from "Private" to "Public" or "Unlisted".

Q. Why does the YouTube player thumbnail sometimes not match the current step?

A. This is due to a bug (external specification) on YouTube's side.

When you skip steps or when the timer automatically advances **while BGM is not playing**, the thumbnail image displayed in the YouTube player frame may appear delayed by one step.

#### Why not force a fix?
While it is technically possible to force a fix, doing so introduces drawbacks such as increased data traffic and screen flickering, which can particularly compromise the stability of BGM playback on mobile devices.

#### Impact on BGM playback (no actual harm)
The purpose of this app as a productivity tool is to "provide BGM tailored to the timer", not to browse video thumbnails.
The moment you press the play button on the controller, the correct playlist corresponding to the current step (work or break) is immediately loaded and played.
There is no actual impact such as unintended tracks playing, so please rest assured.
